Dear family, 
I had other obligations for weeks, but Steve tried to attend the memorial for Kathy and couldn't find the place after 49 min.  Sorry, but you know how we feel about you all as neighbors and Kathy was such  a wonderful woman...always happy and positive.
We will truly miss her out there in her beautiful yard gardening with her sun bonnet and smiles!

Although I did not know Kathy, she was a familiar face around the NW Washington Synod, having served Our Savior's for so long.  Thanks be to God for her Christian service in the world.

Such a beautiful soul.  She will be missed by so many with her smile and always encouraging words!

Terry and family, My thoughts and prayers go out to you all during this difficult time.

Kathy was our Camp Fire troop leader in elementary and middle school - she had great patience to teach us so many skills and take us camping every year!  The gift of her service and leadership shaped me as a young person and led me to also give back as a troop leader. She will always be remembered fondly.

The Best Mom Ever, I am her daughter from Honduras, and I just cant stop thanking God for the Bless of my Mom in my Life , without a doubt I am the woman I am today because of her. I loved her deeply, she wasnt only a nice lady who once hosted me , she was my American Mother , all the love, memories and relationship mother -Daughter we had was so wonderful. I miss you Mom , more tha ever , but you are good now and will be with me closer and for ever , until we meet again someday . Love you . Love also to my Family , My Dad Terry Sis Teresa, Grandma Cain Aunt Paula, Niece Elenor and my Son Ricardo who also loves her deeply.

In Memory of Kathy Ostlund.  I met Kathy thru AFS the Exchange student organization and always liked and admired her.  She was a positive person, a sensible person and was such a rock to her family.  I was sorry she had to go thru such an ordeal and to Terry, Teresa, Eleanor, Joy and Paula, my thoughts are with you all and hope that although you will miss her greatly, that your memories will help you in the future.
