

Larry V. Gray of Lake Stevens WA passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday October 4th, 2017. Larry was born July 26th, 1934 in Silverton WA and was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Esther Gray, and brother Robert Gray. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Wilma, step-sons Ron Wetzel (Cheryl), Roger Wetzel (Sally), and Tom Wetzel (Connie); Daughter’s Connie Groves (Jerry), Sue Parks (Tom), and son Jeffery Gray, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
In life, Larry enjoyed tinkering in his shop with his many hobbies of old cars, dune buggies and especially his true love of his beautiful prized Harley, which won him many trophy’s over the years. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix with his mechanical talent and engineering expertise. But the true joy of his life was his wife Wilma, his family, and his extended family. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather, and will be missed by all. Larry received an honorable discharge from the Navy, was a member of the Eagles Club for 50 plus years and was also a long term member of the American Legion.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday October 12th, 2017 at Evergreen Funeral Home located at 4504 Broadway, Everett WA. Graveside services will be at Cyprus Lawn Cemetery at 1615 Everett Mall Way immediately following. For those who wish, there will be an open viewing prior to the services from 11:00AM until 12:30PM. A celebration of life following the graveside service will be held at The Everett Eagles1216 North Broadway, Everett, WA 98201.
