Lars Harold Sundt was born in Cleveland, OH, to Roy and Alfhild on November 2, 1943 and passed away on January 12, 2018 from a courageous battle with cancer. Husband, Father, Grandpa and Friend. Lars moved to Everett, WA, when he was a small boy and moved to Snohomish in the fifth grade. He graduated from Snohomish High School in 1961. He joined the Army after high school, stationed at Fort Benning and in Korea. Lars loved to work out in his machine shop, making parts for himself and friends. He was an avid trap shooter. He took pride in his shooting skills. He belonged to local gun clubs and competed at different shooting events. He loved to tell stories of his mischievous past as a kid. He had a big heart and would help anyone. Lars worked as a machinist and a tool and die maker for The Boeing Company for over 20 years and was part of "The Incredibles". He retired in 1997. Lars leaves behind his wife, Adeline; his daughter, Lillianna Ortman (Michael) and grandchildren, Evangeline and Liam, step children, Kathy (Fred), Pat (Pam), Kim (Steve), Terry, Melonie (John), Greg (Andi); numerous step grandchildren; and his brother, Eric Sundt (Lanny), his sister, Karen Weber (Harlan). Service to be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
