Dee Aley, of Marysville, Washington, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born on January 23, 1939, in Spokane, Washington.
Dee was a woman of deep faith who loved our Heavenly Father with all her heart. She faithfully studied the Bible every day and proudly read it cover to cover each year until she was no longer able. Her strong spiritual foundation guided her life and inspired those around her.
Dee's favorite place was the ocean. She cherished camping trips, long walks on the beach, and the simple joy of finding sand dollars and flying kites. In her later years, she discovered a love for ballroom dancing and spent many happy hours taking lessons at the local Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
Over the years, Dee held a variety of careers that reflected her dedication and work ethic. She began as a telephone operator before becoming a dental assistant, a field she enjoyed for many years. She also worked in real estate, served as a record supervisor for the local police department, and later retired as a bookkeeper for a sanitation company. Eventually, she became self-employed as a bookkeeper, a role that suited her independence and attention to detail.
In 2019, Dee was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Though her memory began to fade, her radiant smile and kind spirit never did.
Dee is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis A. Aley. She leaves behind her loving children and grandchildren, who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
Dee's family and friends will remember her for her unwavering faith, her joyful heart, and her love of life’s simple beauty.
She will be deeply missed.
