Michael Roland EdeenMichael Roland Edeen born in Chehalis, WA May 14, 1941, passed away in Everett, WA January 28, 2010 due to complications from severe diabetes and lung disease. His daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren were at his side.Mike, an avid football fan, could be found faithfully cheering on teams every weekend. His fondest memories included playing football and wrestling in high school. He loved family, animals and a well cooked meal. Mike enjoyed movies, music, a great novel, riding his motorcycles, being at Camano Island beach house, and a good political debate. Mike graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Criminal Justice and Journalism. He made his career as a criminal investigator and later a correctional officer.Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Vivian Edeen; and his brother, Greg.He is survived by his daughter, Heidi Salzer, son-in-law, Eric Salzer, grandchildren, Michael, David, and Elizabeth Salzer; his Aunt Jo (Dodie) Anderson; and many cousins and friends.Celebration of life will take place at 3 p.m. on February 20, 2010 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Everett.Arrangements under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery, Everett, WA.
