Olive passed away Nov. 2, 2010 with her family by her side. She was born the youngest of eleven children to Norwegian emigrants Hans and Anna Heggen, on Mar 8, 1918 in Aberdeen, Wa. After graduating from Everett HS she married her high school sweetheart Lawrence Sweeney. Together they raised four children. Olive retired from Everett Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic at the age of 70. She loved her work, her friends and most of all her children and grand children. Olive was always the “Cool” mom to have. She was much loved and will be missed forever. She is survived by her husband Lawrence, her children Larry (Patti) Sweeney, Kathy (Bill) Hayes, Mary Ellen Sweeney and Michelle (Whitney) Frost, her grandchildren Summer Sweeney-Baird, Carrie Hayes, Suzie Hayes Myron, Steve Hayes, Kelly Brodel, Shawn Brodel, Riley Poor, Brennan Frost, Lexi Frost and numerous great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Memorial services will be held at noon sat Nov 13 at Evergreen Funeral Home in Everett.
