There are so many great memories with my grandma. I remember taking trips with her and my grandpa to South Dakota and we would drive, and grandma would have to lay down in the back of the car for most of the ride because she got such bad headaches. I remember one time she put my crayons in the glove box on one of our trips to S.D. it got so hot that all my crayons melted into one. I will never forget that! My grandma taught me to love unconditionally. She didn't care if you were purple, green, yellow or orange she thought you were the sweetest person. It didn't matter if you've known her for 5 minutes or you've known her for your whole life she would tell you she loved you! She was my comfort when I was little all the way to now. She taught me how to play dominoes, she taught me how to play poker, with pennies, she taught me how to play Chinese checkers. She taught me how to crochet, embroider, use a sewing machine, how to iron clothes, how to can pickles and anything else that could be canned. I think one of the things I will cherish and carry on for as long as I can and as long as I can remember, will be her love for cooking. She really enjoyed cooking for other people that made her happy. In fact it made us happy as well! I remember being little and all I kept saying was Grandma you can't have another birthday, because that means you're going to get older! But the older I got it changed a little bit, too I hope I can live as long as she did! She had a very full and happy life! Miss her every minute of every day! Until I see you again Grandma save me a spot up there!
