Patricia O'Reilly Riedle

February 18, 1924 – November 13, 2014

Born in Anaheim, CA, to parents Paul B. O’Reilly and Fern Sanders O’Reilly, Patricia grew up in Los Angeles, entered Occidental College at 15 and also attended Pepperdine University. She married Capt. John F. Davidson (U.S. Army Air Corps) at 18 and while raising their 3 children, Pat enjoyed a career as an Administrative Assistant to corporate executives at Hunt-Wesson Foods, the founders of Golden West Financial Corp. and the Superintendent of Schools in Walnut Creek, CA.

An avid bridge player, Patricia also loved reading, interior decorating, travel, theater and concerts, dancing, and activities with PEO and Mensa. She married her second husband, Frederick Riedle, in 1984. Upon his death in 2012, she moved to Mill Creek, WA to be near her daughter. Patricia is survived by two of her children, Mary Davidson Vernon and John Timothy Davidson, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. At her request, no public services will be held. Patricia will be buried next to her husband at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Everett, Washington.
