Pelesia Laina Faailoga

Pelesia was called home to rest in God's loving arms on Saturday, August 09, 2025 with the love of her family surrounding her. Pelesia was born in Vailoa, Samoa in 1944 to Punaupu Mataafa and Sooga. She met the love of her life & best friend Alofa Faailoga (Manono, Samoa) in 1972 at Salelesi, Samoa. Pelesia was blessed with six beautiful children, Jerry, Evi, Junior, Fatilua, Joshua and Steve. Along with 14 grandbabies and 1 great grandbaby. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter, aunty and friend who touched countless lives with her radiant smile, generous spirit, and unwavering faith. Her family meant everything to her, and her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion lives on in them. She will be missed by her children and grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Her passing leaves a void in our hearts, yet we are comforted knowing her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.

A Funeral Service for Pelesia will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Evergreen Funeral Home, followed by Burial at Evergreen Cemetery 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA 98203.
