Perrin was a beloved brother, uncle, friend, and partner, and an important part of the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Perrin was a creative and artistic person who loved making things. He was a poet, artist, and craftsman who created leather work, fiber arts, and other handmade pieces, often gifting them to friends and family. His work reflected his wonderful imagination and the way he saw the world.
He was deeply curious about life and loved conversation. Perrin could talk for hours about history, science, philosophy, current events, or any topic that sparked his interest. He especially enjoyed being outdoors, sharing a cigarette and talking with anyone who stopped to engage with him. He had a natural ability to connect with people and make them feel at ease.
Perrin lived a life of serving others through his work as a coach operator with Community Transit for 19 years, a job he was proud of and work he enjoyed. He was proud to have also served for a time in the Army National Guard, fulfilling a lifelong dream to be part of the military.
Perrin met, and became engaged to Rinna Chilongo of Malawi. Their relationship brought him deep happiness and hope for the future. They were both looking forward to building a beautiful life together. Those who love Perrin take great comfort in knowing that this final chapter of his life was filled with love, joy, and the excitement of dreams yet to come.
He will be remembered for his curiosity, creativity, warmth, and his ability to connect with everyone he met.
