Phil was a proud union carpenter who worked on high-rise commercial projects throughout the Seattle and Bellevue area. He took great pride in his craft and in building things meant to last, structures that now stand as a quiet testament to his dedication, skill, and strong work ethic. Known for his generosity and dependability, Phil was the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need, never expecting recognition in return.
Outside of work, Phil embraced life fully. He cherished hunting and fishing trips with his father, moments that strengthened a bond built on shared time and tradition. He enjoyed golfing with friends and remained a devoted skateboarder from his youth, carrying that same adventurous spirit throughout his life. Phil had a sharp wit and an infectious sense of humor, with an uncanny ability to make people laugh even on the hardest days. He was a natural fixer and builder; if something was broken, Phil could figure out how to make it whole again.
Above all else, Phil was a beloved son and brother. His parents grieve the unimaginable loss of a son whose presence filled their lives with love. His sister mourns not only her brother, but a lifelong companion, someone who shared memories, inside jokes, and an unbreakable bond that death cannot erase. He will be profoundly missed by them, his absence felt in the quiet moments and the everyday rhythms of life.
Phil leaves behind a legacy of kindness, craftsmanship, and connection. Though his life was far too short, the impact he made will endure in his loved ones’ memories.
A Fallen Limb
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says,
“Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times,
the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived
while I was strong.”
-Author Unknown

Phil will be remembered always, missed endlessly, and loved beyond measure.
