She was born on October 12, 1918 to Robert and Mable Fey in Spink County, South Dakota. She grew up in the farming community near Aberdeen.
Mom was an RN and spent her life caring for others. She was the nurse that all of the patients loved, and other staff enjoyed working with. She left South Dakota and relocated to Seattle where she met Robert Keller and they fell in love. They were married March 18, 1948 in Seattle. They had three daughters while living in Seattle. In 1958, Thanksgiving day, they purchased six acres and moved the family to the Snohomish area near Clearview, where mom became known as a person who had a strong, caring, and innovative nursing sensibility. Her neighbors in the surrounding community would call upon her as a resource when they needed assistance. Our kitchen was Dr. Mom’s ER. She would stitch us up and send us back out to play with a heavy dose of kisses and love. Mom enjoyed sewing and sewed most of our clothes for school. She was very creative and made various dolls, pillows, and stuffed animals and blankets. She loved to collect dolls and had a room filled with her collection. She was devoted to dad, or as she always called him, Bobbie.
She is survived by the love of her life, Bobbie,; daughters, Maeve (Mike) Kelly, Lanoree (Mike) Garton, Leora (Sam) Aigbekaen, Grandsons, Aaron (Verline) Ryner, Eric (Leah) Ryner, Clark (Cheryl) Garton, Timothy (Danielle) Garton, Elizabeth, Marcus, and Jeffrey Aigbekaen, Step Grandchildren, Ken and Sandra Aigbekaen, Krista and Erin Kelly, 10 Great grandchildren, Sister Norma Hall of Asheville, NC, and Sister-in-law Yvonne Masten of Cle Elum, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Sunrise View Convalescent Center for their love and care during the past year. A special thank you to nurses, Kelly, Loretta, and Evelyn for their thoughtfulness and concern for mom during the last few weeks of her life.
