Still miss you so darn much. Most beautiful girl I ever knew. ❤️

I hung out with Rachel we are the same age I knew her when I was 19. She was so beautiful I always remember the natural beauty and her beautiful long hair. I was best friends with her boyfriend a.k.a. baby daddy’s sister. That’s how I got to know Rachel. When they lived on Casino Road. We had some fun times all of us. I remember her always being so caring and protective and loving. If you were her friend she would give the shirt off her back for you. There’s somethings so pure and innocent about that. When she loved it she loved hard she was a writer die till the end. That’s hard to find these days. My daughter knows her older son it’s a small world how we’re still all connected. Rachel may you rest in peace beautiful one we will never be forgotten and I will cherish the times I did get to hang out with you because they were beautiful moments in my life. They were beautiful because you were in them. Rest in peace..Are you transition and may your father be greeted by you in heaven. Rest in peace to him as well and 2021 he passed away and I know that he’s with his daughter now. Rachel love you girl XOXO

Miss you buddy.  Wish you could have spent more time with us all.  Maybe we'll cross paths again somehow.  Sleep peacefully.

Wasn't even going to post some poem or quote, but then I saw this thing that said copyrighted works aren't allowed, but original poems, songs and prayers are welcomed. With that, I accept the challenge to write a poem in your honor:

Smiles are most vividly recalled
though of your presence we're bereft;
that, and the bangles worn 
on your wrists, both right and left.
Your bracelets shined so bright,
but compete that shine could not
against the sunny-souled impart left
with all those whom you did meet.

Too young you left, cliche but true
though a legacy was left behind
in the sons you gave to present time
and future, so in some way your spark
will shine for long to come, as your sisters 
tend the flames and ensure your men behave
until the men that they become have
righted wrongs which wrongly would have stayed,
were it not for you.

Sadness creeps inside the hearts of many
as we realize suddenly yet often that
we'll hear you laugh no more.
But when it happens that we do find our resolve, 
we might also choose to wash the 
sadness down with thoughts of how 
you'd probably laugh at what wussies we are, 
and replace those lots of tears 
with cautious cheer at how you lived your life 
your way, for better or worse, your whole time here.

We cannot imagine there is no pain more far-reaching and deeper than losing a child, mother, or sister. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you at this most difficult time.
The bond the immediate family had with Rachel cannot be broken. She loved all of you even through difficult times. 
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, rest if you must but don't quit.

During these times of loosing a loved one it's always difficult to put in words a thought or an expression of empathy.  I can only hope that everyone that loved Rachel knows we all share the emptiness and sorrow of her passing, but also the happiness and laughter from having her in our lives. This world is hard on sensitive, gentle people. Rachel was a very dear and sensitive person. I have to many nieces and nephews to pick favorites but she was a special one to me. The top picture on this page is a beautiful one. It really catches her spirit. Thankfully, she is beyond hurt and pain now.

I imagine there is no pain more far-reaching and deeper than losing a child, sister, or mother. My heart and prayers go out to Debbie, Christie, Katie, Derek, Vance, and Austin especially at this most difficult time. 

The bond Rachel brought to your immediate family cannot be broken. She loved you so much. You will meet again. 

I will keep her spirit alive with the many memories I hold close to my heart.

When thing go wrong, as they sometimes will, reset...but do not quit.
