Born on June 17, 1950, in Everett, WA, to Antoinette and Clayton Brumbaugh, both of whom preceded him in death, Randy’s journey through life was marked by service, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community.
Randy is survived by his devoted wife, Bonnie Brumbaugh. Their love story began on December 8, 1979, and spanned over four decades, marked by mutual respect, laughter, and shared experiences. Together, they raised three sons: Chad, Clayton, and Matthew, who found his soulmate in Rebecca. His legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Madison, Tyler, Isabella, Talia, Ethan, and Audrey, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to Randy’s life.
Randy is also survived by his brothers, Dennis and Steve (wife, Sharon), who shared countless memories and life experiences with him. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Gary and David, who remained close to his heart until his passing. Additionally, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews experienced Randy's profound love and care, further extending the bonds of his family.
Growing up in Everett, WA, Randy's formative years laid the foundation for his lifelong values and passions. He honorably served his country in the Navy, Army, and Army Reserves during the 1970s, demonstrating his dedication and patriotism.
Randy’s professional career spanned 38 years at Scott Paper Company/Kimberly Clark, where he worked diligently before retiring in the welcoming community of Granite Falls. His work ethic and commitment to excellence left a lasting impression on his colleagues and peers.
A man of many interests, Randy loved playing cribbage, a game that fostered camaraderie and connection with family and friends. His enthusiasm for local sports teams, such as the Mariners and the Seahawks, was contagious, and he often attended games, sharing the excitement with those he loved. Camping and golfing were among his favorite pastimes, providing cherished moments of relaxation and connection with family and nature.
Randy's greatest joy, however, was spending quality time with his family. He was a pillar of strength, a source of wisdom, and a beacon of love. His positive impact on all who knew him is a testament to his character and the authenticity with which he lived his life.
Randy Isaac Brumbaugh will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever be a source of inspiration and comfort.
A memorial service to celebrate Randy's remarkable life will be held on Friday, July 26th at Evergreen Funeral Home.
