Renartha "Bea" Blum

Bea was born January 28, 1912 in Manhaven, ND and passed away peacefully December 1, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gustave, in 1964; as well as her three brothers; and four sisters.

In 1936 they moved to Portland, OR where they raised two daughters.

She is survived by her daughters Lavon Woodey of Everett, WA and Sharon Smiley (Mike) of Nine Mile Falls, WA; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

No eye has seen, no ear has heard,

no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.

Life’s Road

The roads I've traveled are many and far

To school on horseback and now in a car

I grew with brothers three and sisters four

Our lives were scattered from sand to shore

Our family grew, so we would travel west

To the land God said was the very best

We had each other and a child to raise

When along came another, to God we give praise

Many years have gone by, I stop to smile

I'm going to Heaven to rest a long while

A reunion we'll have with family and friend

God gave me a home with Angels, my love to send
