Robert “Bob” Pearson, passed away very peacefully in his sleep December 31,2016. Bob was born April 29, 1925 in Everett, Washington to Beryl and Irene Pearson. He lived most of his 91 years in the Marysville/Everett area. Bob joined the Marine Corp. in 1942 and served in the South Pacific. After being discharged in late 1946 Bob went to work for the Northern Pacific Railroad and retired after 39 years. Shortly after retirement he started Metro Curbing and Striping with his son in law; the company is still in business today.
Bob loved his work and loved to travel. He especially enjoyed going on cruises with his family. Dad loved his family, fishing and helping others.
Bob is survived by his wife of 68 years, Cathy, daughter Sheryl, son Robert Jr., daughter Kay and son-in law Dennis, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Dad requested no services but asked that anyone who wishes donate to the American Cancer Society.
