Rockie Lynn Vanderpool

Rockie Lynn Vanderpool was born on June 30th, 1949, in Everett, Washington to Gene and Lorena Vanderpool.

Rockie grew up in Marysville, Washington with nine siblings: 5 sisters and 4 brothers. Rockie is preceded in death by siblings Connie, Tony, Gary and Fred. Survived by siblings Alberta, Judy, Judy Ann, Gale and Marlon.

In 1967, Rockie proudly served our country in Vietnam under the Army 11th Armored Cavalry and completed his tour in 1970 with accolades.

On March 4th, 1978, Rockie married his love, Debra Low, and expanded their loving family.

An avid storyteller with a snappy sense of humor, Rockie could often be found reminiscing, telling stories of his life. He will be especially remembered for his colorful wit and charm.

Rockie’s large family includes three children, one stepdaughter, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, two daughters-in-law, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Rockie is survived by his wife Debra, sons Jeffrey and Brent, and is preceded in death by his son Michael and stepdaughter Rhonda.
