Born on August 1, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, to Leticia Prito and William Munoz, Rosemarie carried a vibrant spirit from an early age. Her love for adventure and culture led her to a career in publishing, where she became Vice President of Island Home Magazine, a well-known travel and real estate publication. Her passions led to many accomplishments in her professional career, including serving as a Production Assistant for concerts at the Madison Square Gardens and other major venues, producing a very successful fashion show in support of Muscular Dystrophy and being the Co-Founder of the Hawaii Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Her work allowed her to explore the world, but her passion for travel went far beyond business—it was a way of life. She lived for a time in Puerto Rico, embracing its warmth and vibrancy, much like the salsa music she adored since her high school days.
During a business trip in Honolulu, Hawaii, Rosemarie met the love of her life, Glenwood Johnson. From the moment Glenn saw her, he knew she was the woman he was meant to marry. Indeed, they did marry, and they shared over 30 wonderful years together. They built a life filled with adventure, love, and incredible meals—especially her famous spaghetti, which friends and family still rave about.
Beyond her professional and personal accomplishments, Rosemarie had a deep love for animals, especially a beloved Shih Tzu, Rosco. He was her daily companion, receiving all the affection and care she had to give.
