Rosemary was born in 1933 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Walter and Monica Rivers. She was the youngest of eight children, with four sisters and three brothers. She was married to Harold Vincent Cawley in 1954 and moved to Washington state after their marriage. Harold, the love of her life, preceded her in death in 1991.
Rosemary is survived by her sister, Loretta (Rita) Chester, three daughters, Cynthia, Janice, and April, and her granddaughter Shara. She was blessed with two great-granddaughters, Sienna and Oakley.
Rosemary and Harold loved to go camping and travel, enjoying summers at their vacation retreat near the Skagit River, and visiting national parks all over the Western United States. Many weekends were spent in Canada with loving family and friends.
Rosemary had a successful 20+ year career in Washington, first as a legal secretary, and then at John Fluke Manufacturing as an executive assistant to several Vice Presidents. Her position there created lifelong friendships that she treasured, and offered travel opportunities to Europe and Asia, as well as travel within the U.S.
Rosemary lived a full, rich life and will always be remembered for her devotion to family.
