Age 69, of Everett, WA passed away on April 27, 2014. Sam was born on October 16, 1944 in Detroit, MI to Leon and June Cover. Sam spent his career working at Kimberly Clark as a heavy machine operator before retiring in 2009. Sam had a deep desire for thinking. He enjoyed gardening and maintaining a beautiful home and yard. He also enjoyed camping, fishing and keeping company with his numerous canine companions. Sam is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Marlene Cover and by his brother; Leon Cover. Sam is survived by his only son, Samuel E. Cover Jr. (Gail), of Spokane, WA; by his sisters, Sandy Minnick and Jeanne Hogg (Richard); by his brother, Bobby Cover; and by his grandsons, Sammy, Cory and Jackson. Sam also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A Graveside Service for Sam will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 4504 Broadway in Everett, WA on Friday, May 9, 2014 beginning at 3:30pm.
