Sara Lynn Carr

Sara Lynn Carr, of Stanwood Washington, born Feb. 20th 1942 went home to be with her Heavenly Father on July 22, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents Lyle and Jane Jenks, and sister Sibyl Mills. She is survived by her loving husband James Carr and five children, Kristopher (Annette), Patrick (Tracey), Scott (Lisa), Clay (Stacy), and Jessica. 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

The Lord blessed our family with the most incredible Godly woman we know, she was a worship leader, Sunday School teacher, back yard Bible school teacher, she taught children about Gods Love, she was our Spiritual Rock, she was our MOM, coach, mentor, motivator, and she would do anything thing for us. She left this earth way too soon and is rejoicing in Heaven today.

She Loved the PNW, (Pacific North West), her ferry rides, and so many memories of her picking up beautiful agates along beaches of Lopez Island with her family. Every time we visit Lopez we will be reminded and hear her voice in the whistling of the wind.

We are at a loss for words to describe the impact our mom had as she leaves an incredible Legacy of Gods work behind.

Her favorite Bible passage was, “So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:4-8‬ ‭

We Love you Sara Lynn Carr and we will forever miss you until our joyous reunion in Heaven some day.

A viewing and celebration of life will be held at Evergreen Funeral home Everette Washington, on Thursday July 28, 2022. Beginning at 10:00 am and the family will receive friends with a graveside service at Cyprus Lawn Memorial Park at 11:30am.

A memorial Service will also be held at 11:00 am on Friday the 29th at her place of worship Fellowship Baptist Church, Smokey Point, Washington.
