

Tom was born on June 19, 1964, at Providence Hospital in Everett, Washington, to Stanley Orval Lyons and Margie Lucille (Smith) Lyons. He grew up in Snohomish and graduated from Snohomish High School with the Class of 1982.
Tom dedicated 33½ years of service to the City of Everett, including 28 years as Head Mechanic for the Everett Fire Department. Throughout his career, he was respected for his hard work, mechanical expertise, and commitment to serving his community. Those who worked alongside him knew him as dependable, skilled, and always willing to lend a hand.
Above all, Tom was a devoted family man. He found immense joy in his family and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. His love, guidance, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on those closest to him. To many beyond his immediate family, he was affectionately known as “Uncle Tom,” a testament to the friendships and connections he built throughout his life.
Tom is survived by his three daughters: Jordan Lyons and her child; Sheila Lyons, her husband Jeff, and their two children; and Emily Lyons, her fiancé Zeke, and their three children. He is also survived by six siblings and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Orval Lyons and Margie Lucille Lyons.
Tom’s legacy of hard work, dedication, kindness, and love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Taken too soon, he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
