

Timothy Lee Blitch, a cherished beacon of compassion and humanity, passed away at his home in Everett on March 26, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and an indelible mark on the hearts of those he touched. He was born into the tranquil landscapes of Montana on October 5, 1957 Timothy grew up with his sister and brother.
A graduate of Butte High School in 1975, Tim moved to California upon graduation. He spent his early adult years there where he attended college and obtained his AA Degree. In the 1990’s he moved to Washington, joining his brother and settled in to a community that welcomed him and where he lived was known for his gentle nature and a profound aptitude for creativity—be it through the intricate sketches that breathed life into portraits or his serene moments spent amidst nature, feeding hummingbirds. His love for art was paralleled only by his passion for music, with the soulful melodies of Tina Turner often serving as the soundtrack to his life.
Tim voice, though soft-spoken, carried profound convictions, especially when it came to his work. He dedicated himself tirelessly for over 20 years to aiding those on the fringes of society—immigrants, individuals struggling with addiction, and homeless families. Through his relentless efforts, he not only provided them with options for housing but also a sense of hope and dignity.
As a devoted member of the Lifelong AIDS Foundation, Tim worked fervently to raise money and awareness for HIV and AIDS, embodying the organization's mission with every action he took. His unwavering dedication to uplifting those around him was a beacon of hope for many and a testament to the power of selfless service.
Today, as we remember Tim, we celebrate the myriad ways in which he enriched our lives. His legacy is not merely in the tangible actions he took but in the love, compassion, and humanity he exemplified. Tim may have departed from this world, but his spirit continues to inspire us to live with kindness, to reach out to those in need, and to cherish the beauty in every moment.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Patricia Blitch. Survivors include his brother Todd Blitch, sister Cathy Edden (Doug McCollum), niece Taylor Pesanti (Will Pesanti) and great niece Weslynn Pesanti.
In honor of his memory, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Lifelong AIDS foundation.
