Velma Gene Amos passed away peacefully at 89 years old on July 7th, 2016. Her husband of 59 years, Oliver Henry Amos passed away in 2010. She is survived by her four children: Roger, Paul, Richard and Judy. She also had multiple grandchildren and great- grandchildren throughout her long life. She loved crocheting, quilting, gardening and baking. She loved life and always had a smile on her face and something positive to say.
She was very good with children. She always babysat her grandchildren when they were little and even some of her great- grandchildren later on in life.
