Virginia "Ginger" Hart, 77 of Arlington, WA, died peacefully Thursday morning, September 16, 2010 at Providence Hospital in Everett, WA after a long battle against several illnesses. Her family takes comfort from her example of strength and courage.

She was born Virginia Claire Jenkins in Bonners Ferry, ID on December 11, 1932 to Michael and Jessie (Green) Jenkins.

She married Walter F. Hart at St. Leo's Church in Tacoma, WA on August 26, 1950. They celebrated their 60th anniversary this year.

Ginger and Walt had six children, Mike Hart-Briggs (Rich), Larry Hart, Denise Huson (John), Ronda Zoellick (Ray), and was preceded in death by Robin Lynn and Lucinda Dale Hart.

She is survived by her husband, children, 16 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren; as well as siblings, Ron Jenkins (Patty), Lovena Jenkins, Glen Belden (Carol), Sharron Krough (Dick) and Jeanne Zepeda (Jim).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Henry Belden and Michael Jenkins; and brothers, Butch Jenkins, Ivan Belden and Larry Davis.

Ginger retired from the Everett School District after 28 years. She loved to dance and everyone who knew her enjoyed her patriotism and love for her country which she showed in her many displays of red, white and blue and the American flag. She cherished her family and many friends. She touched the hearts of many people during her life and will be remembered with as much love as she gave them. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and will be missed dearly by all.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering at the Medallion Hotel Arlington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010.
