Born on January 18, 1952, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Billy was a happy, helpful, and caring man with a wonderful sense of humor that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He spent the majority of his life as a tow truck operator and small business owner — roles that perfectly suited his hardworking nature and generous spirit.
Billy had a deep love for baseball, a good wager, and the joy of traveling. Whether it was cheering on the M's or coaching, trying his luck, or hitting the open road, he embraced life with a sense of adventure and fun with a big heart and open arms.
He is survived by his two loving sons, Jeffery and Bo, who were his pride and joy and his brother, Tom. He will be dearly missed by his long-time girlfriend and partner, Lucy, who stood by his side through life’s ups and downs.
Billy was the kind of person who showed up when you needed him, made you laugh when you were down, and left every place — and person — better than he found them. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
