Cousin Todd, Claudia, Amber & Michael came to visit us when we moved to Oregon, they watched as we shot a potato through a potato gun (and Michael kept counting how many clocks we had throughout our house), from that day forward we watched through pictures as Amber and Michael grew up, and when Mackenzie was born, and what love they all had for each other. Tears continue to flow in Amber leaving so young in life, she will remain forever in our heart and memory, gone but not forgotten.

I moved to Tacoma and met Amber’s father, Walter Cavalier while working at Godfathers Pizza. Walt took me to meet his girlfriend, Claudia and baby, Amber when she was about a year old. I thought she was a beautiful baby and remember how shy she was at our first meeting. I then introduced my sister to Claudia and they became friends for life. As we go through our lives we meet many people, but for some reason we choose very few to always remember and keep in our hearts and minds. No matter the time or distance nothing can change these commitments to each other. We can spend years apart, but when we call or meet the love is forever as strong as when we first became friends. That is our love for Claudia and her children. Although we traveled far apart in our adult lives we will always hold dear the souls we truly love. I wish I had played a larger part in Amber’s short but event filled life, but know this Amber, I loved you. I never knew the pain and misery you suffered on a daily basis, but as intense as your pain was it was also reciprocated with the love you gave to your friends and family who were close. I remember you forever as the little girl whom I met in Tacoma and the high school student at Granite Bay when you would come over to the fence of our construction site and ask for me. You were always so beautiful and more so every time I saw you. Everyone would ask who was that beautiful kid! You smile was your greatest gift. It was absolutely disarming. I will never forget you kid. Much love to your mother, brother, and Todd who I envy because he was a truly devoted father. May you Rest In Peace and suffer no more beautiful soul.

I met Amber when I started working at Rite Aid. I was a floater at the time and always enjoyed when I was scheduled to work at the same store Amber worked. She had such a dynamic personality and we bonded over our curly hair and love for Halloween. She was a joy to know and she will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Claudia and Amber through my best friend and college roommate, Tammy. Claudia, Amber and Michael used to come waterskiing and tubing at my parents house on Lake Tapps, WA. Amber will be forever missed but not forgotten. Sending love and hugs to you all.
Much love,

One of my favorite memories is when Amber was a little girl . Charles and I had come into town and we were watching her one day. My mom and I were talking and Amber was sitting next to me wanting my attention, but I kept talking with my mom. Finally Amber look at me and said in her little sweet voice "You talk to much and you never shut up" . She had gotten it from that song Big Mouth. I fell out laughing at her. Amber gave me a shy smile. I paid attention to her after that.

Dear Mackenzie and family,
We are so sad and completely shocked to hear of your loss. Amber and I only recently connected as my daughter has become so very close to Mackenzie. I simply cannot imagine what you are going through. We are available if you need anything at all. We have enjoyed getting to know Amber through Mackenzie and would be happy to help if Mackenzie or the family needs anything.

Over the years I have loved watching the pure joy on my nephew Todd’s face as he speaks of his daughter Amber and of her beautiful little Mackenzie. Thank you Amber for making my daughter’s wedding, 4 years ago, such an extra special day having Mackenzie as her precious flower girl! You will be greatly missed by all; especially by parents and by Mackenzie, but may the memories of your love and your light forever hold you in their hearts and may they always be able to smile and reminisce as those memories are recalled. 💕

My heart hit the ground when I read of your passing. I can remember the fun times at Indigo Creek when we thought we were so cool. It's been forever, but I sure can remember that big smile. May you light up heaven with your smile and watch over us all! This has been a reminder that we may be young, but things can change so quickly, so we must enjoy our time here to the fullest & spread our happiness and love to those around us. Prayers to your family & little girl to find strength and healing in this unimaginable time XOXO Tae
