Specialist Amber Lynn Alfred was born in Montrose, Colorado.

She enlisted in the United States Army as a Radiology Technician.

Her military education includes: Basic Training, Fort Jackson, South Carolina; Advanced Individual Training phase I, Fort Sam Houston Texas; and phase II, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Her military assignments include: General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood Missouri as Radiology Technician and Irwin Army Community Hospital, Fort Riley, Kansas as Radiology Technician.

SPC Alfred’s awards and decorations include: the Army Commendation Medal; the Good Conduct Medal; the National Defense Service Medal; the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; and the Army Service Ribbon.

SPC Alfred is survived by her husband, SPC Bryan Alfred, mother, Lora Davis, Sister, Ashley Harp, Brother, Dawain Jones, and step-father SSG (Ret) Stephen Maney. SPC Alfred was joined in passing by her two sons, Keith and Josiah.

Keith Antowone Rashawn Johnson-Alfred was born December 11, 2005 in Sacramento, CA. Keith was the oldest of the 2 siblings. He was raised by both parents; Bryan and Amber Alfred. God saw the road was getting rough; The hill was hard to climb. He gently closed those loving eyes, and whispered “Peace be Thine.” The weary hours, the days of pain, the sleepless nights are past. The ever patient, warn out frame has found sweet rest at last. God saw you getting weary, So he did what he knew best. He came and stood beside you and whispered, “come and rest.” Sleep on babyboi and take your rest. We loved you but GOD loves you best.

Josiah Lemond Alfred was born May 28, 2010 in Fort Riley, KS. Josiah was the baby of the 2 siblings. He was raised by both parents; Bryan and Amber Alfred. Not even a last goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, Only God knows why, Sleep on deer baby cakes and take your rest. We loved you But God loves you the best.
