

Anne Pearl Craft, age 96, formerly of El Dorado Hills, CA passed away peacefully in Fair Oaks, CA on Friday December 18, 2020. Anne was born on November 25, 1924 in Aurora, NE to Benjamin Joseph Strotman and Beulah May Strotman. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Robert Charles Craft.
Anne was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt and cherished friend. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to know her. Anne is survived by her sons Robert Lee Craft and wife Gayle of Latrobe, CA and William Craig Craft and wife Lynne of Wilton, CA and brothers Ted Strotman of Gilroy, CA and Dave Strotman of Paradise, CA as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Anne was the matriarch of her family and was always truly the definition of a lady. Anne was an accomplished homemaker and an avid and gifted decorator and painter. Anne had a vivacious and magnetic personality and could absolutely light up a room. Everyone wanted to be near and be talking to Anne or be next to her in any photo that was taken. The world just got a lot dimmer while heaven just got a lot brighter. Anne will truly be missed.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday January 8, 2021 at 1 pm at Mount Vernon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Due to the current COVID protocols for Sac/ Placer/ El Dorado county, guests must wear protective masks at all times while inside the funeral home facility and practice the recommended six foot social distancing.
