Embraced into God's loving arms on May 10, 2018, in Sacramento, Calif., at the age of 87. Born on July 11, 1930, to late parents Gew Ngoy and Ah Hay Fong. Devoted wife to late husband Harry Louie of 50 years. Dedicated and loving mother to caring daughters Tina Louie, late Angie Louie (son-in-law Gregory Smith), and beautiful and energetic grandson Nathaniel. The third oldest of four children, one brother (Albert Fong) and two sisters (Alice Louie, Dorothy Chin), Annie was born in Stockton, Calif., was sent to Canton, China for her childhood education along with her siblings and was exiled with her family in China for the duration of World War II. As one always wanting to learn more, Annie took bookkeeping classes at (San Joaquin ) Delta College and enjoyed working part-time as a clerk in the Stockton library before she met her husband Harry and together they made an exceptional home for raising their two daughters. She also worked for two years as a filing assistant for a former Sacramento accounting office in her middle age years. Later on, she volunteered several years at the Chinese Gospel Mission Church teaching English as a second language to immigrants seeking citizenship. Annie enjoyed gardening, cooking magnificent meals for her family, singing, sketching, participating in Sr. Aerobics and traveling with her family in earlier years, and spending quality time with her grandson. A modest, faithful, soft spoken, and high achieving individual, with a gracious and generous heart- does not begin to describe her sweet, yet straightforward nature. Annie, tremendous wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, whose wise and fun loving ways will forever be held close to our hearts.
