

Arnoldo Garza, 88, of Orangevale, California, passed away on August 27, 2020, surrounded by his family. He was born to Valerio and Marta Garza on December 18th, 1931 in Benavides, Texas. Arnoldo joined the army at 18. He was a combat veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, and retired after 20 years of service. After retirement, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from American Technical University and enjoyed a successful career working for the State of Texas. He was predeceased by his beautiful wife Lucinda, his parents, his brother, two sisters and one great granddaughter. He is survived by three daughters and one son - Anna Russell and husband Rick, Marta Hanson and husband Jim, Erika Otto and husband Frank, and Arnoldo Jr. and wife Debbie, as well as 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He liked to travel, paint and cheer for the Dallas Cowboys, but most of all he loved being with his family. He will be greatly missed.
