Of all the years Audrey lived in California, she never forgot my birthday.  I will miss her letters and cards.  May she rest in peace.  Garvin Mindt

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I write this after hearing of Audrey's passing. I appreciated Audrey's warmth, kindness, and compassion, and admired her intelligence. I especially enjoyed her sense of humor. Though I did not see Audrey very often, I always thought fondly of her and enjoyed our visits and conversations. 

My deepest condolences to the entire Bechthold Family--her children Rene, Craig(&Kathy), Robin(&Jasmin), Valerie(&Larry), as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. May you hold the happiest memories of Audrey in your hearts--always.

I was so deeply saddened to hear of your mothers passing. We have all lost a very special lady. I know that the loss will be greater for all of you but we all will miss her. We always exchanged our news letter at Christmas. I could catch up on what everyone was doing and her the same with us. She always wanted to know how the farm was and how Del's garden had done. So concerned for everyone else. I remember when you would come back for vacation, it was always great fun for me. She reminded me of your Grandpa, kind, caring and concerned for everyone. A very neat classy lady. When my dad passed away Bruce Mindt gave me a big hug and said whenever I was sad to remember this hug and that there was another hug waiting for me. I used a lot of hugs in the following days and weeks. So I am passing that great big hug onto all of you, there is enough to go around and enough for everyone to use. I know that she will be greatly missed by all of you but she can be with your dad again and all that Jenner clan. What a Great reunion they will have. I can hear them talking and catching up on all the news and talking about all of us. She will always be right beside you in some way. Heaven has gained a wonderful Angel. We don't know why God takes our loved ones when he does, but I do know that he needs those special people with him too. Audrey was one of the nicest ladies we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was bright, intelligent, and so thoughtful and careing towards others. Her family has lost a true insperation.
