When I think of you I will remember, that for every birthday from the time I was born, till not so long ago,you always sent me a birthday card.When I was a kid I knew to watch the mailbox for your card about three days before.It was always exciting to me to get that card,many of which I still have.The early days of our family camp spot at" the meadow", when we were all together there were some of the best.Or,coming to visit on Bonita and the wavy hard candy you kept out.You would give me aluminum foil so I could line a little lake for my trolls in the front yard.When you laughed you would say"my lands". Many years later when I came to Idaho you would make those fabulous Huckleberry pancakes and jam for me and my friends.You were so good to us. Those great Idaho visits that Dad,our Mom,Karen, and I would  make , and how much fun we had and how you always seemed amused by Karen and I. I will always have my memories of you and how lucky I am to have had you for my Aunt.You are just about one of the  sweetest woman that ever was.I don't think you had a mean bone in your body.Thinking about you now makes me want to try to be a better person. You are there now, finally with Sherry again, and Uncle Don and Grandma and Grandpa and so many others who were waiting for you. Now you are truly  an angel. Love Laurie


SHE WAS ALWAY FRIENDLY. LOVE HER FAMILY AND EXTENDED FAMILY AS WELL.  I REMEMBER SPENDING A LOT OF TIME HER AND HER FAMILY AS A KID GROWING UP. SHE WAS THE SISTER OF MY SISTER INLAW WANDA. THIER FAMILY WOULD BE INCLUDED IN SOME OF OUR FAMILY GETHERING AS THEY WERE AS MUCH AS ANY OTHERS IN OUR FAMILY. MY SISTER JANIE WOUOLD BABY SET FOR THE BOYS ONCE IN A WHILE. BETTY WAS SOME MY WHOLE FAMILY GREW TO LOVE OVER THE YEARS. 

It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of Betty Lou Peters – June 7, 1933 – January 28, 2019. Betty passed away at home with her 2 sons, Brian and Wayne and with her fur babies Jake and Dulce.  She spoke the words “Lord Help Me” and he listened and took her to be with him.  Betty was preceded in death by Don (husband), John (father), Julia (mother), HJ (brother), Kathleen (sister), and Sherry Lou (daughter).  Betty will be entered at Mount Vernon Memorial Cemetery, cremated and buried with Sherry as per her request.  Betty is survived by her sons, her brother Paul and her sisters Wanda and Joyce,grandchildren and great grandchildren. We love and miss you Mom.  Watch over us and keep us safe.  We will be holding a celebration of Life on June 8th, 2019 at the Clubhouse at Columbia Sky Mobile Home Estates beginning at 12 noon.
