Beverly Mae Schantz was born on 11/05/36 in Wilkes-Barre, PA and passed away on 06/17/26 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and friends at her home in Sacramento, CA. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and sister. To know Beverly was to know someone who truly appreciated the beauty of a good challenge. Whether it was a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle, the daily newspaper crossword puzzle or Sudoku, she approached life exactly how she approached puzzles; with quiet focus, relentless determination and the belief that every problem had a solution. She and her late husband William traveled through all 50 states, camping, biking and hiking. She was an avid 49er fan and loved to spend time with family and friends. Beverly is survived by her children Elizabeth (Nez) Lourence, William (Lisa) Brown, Brenda (Paul) Scott and Bradley Brown; her grandchildren Poetik, Alexandra (Derek), Joshua, Sydney, Daniel, Madison, Izabelle (Dean), and Grace; great grandchildren Mateo, Adalyn and Guinnevere; her sister Emma (Mike); and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
