

Her mother Flora married Alton Thompson.
The Thompsons moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan. During WWII Alton was in the army and Flora was a nurse which necessitated that Louise live with her Uncle Ben and Uncle Homer.
Louise met and married Delbert Chappell in Kalamzoo in 1950. The couple had two children, Jerry and Karen. The marriage didn’t last and a few years later Billie married Bud Weeks. They had one child, Mickey.
Bud and Louise moved to California. For a while they lived in the West Covina area. In the late 60’s they family moved to Sacramento. Bud and Louise liked to dance both country and ballroom dancing.
In Sacramento Louise worked as an office administrator for Azevedos’ California Apparel store in the Fruitridge Shopping Center until the store closed on April 28, 1986. She then worked for Blaise and company a real estate appraisal company.
Louise took her children and later her two oldest granddaughters, Sarah and Melissa, to roller skating lessons and competitions. Louise was an accomplished sewer and made skating dresses for her granddaughters and many of the other competitors.
After Bud died Louise married Ron Ervin. They lived downtown Sacramento. Ron and Louise liked to take road trips going as far as Arizona to explore. After Ron passed away Louise packed up and moved to Texas to be near her daughter and grandchildren.
She continued to dance taking lessons and entering competitions into her 80’s.
Louise leaves behind two surviving children, Jerry and Karen, 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and the love of her life her dog Molly.
