Billy served 20 years in the US Navy. He is and will always be a beloved father, grandfather, husband, Uncle and friend. He enjoyed many years as an amateur HAM operator and made friends in his communications all over the world. A talented wood maker, making everything from Jewelry Boxes, Cedar Chests, Rocking Horses and Christmas Displays.
Preceded in death by his parents Bill Phillips Sr. and Opal Phillips, and his wife Mercedes Phillips.
Billy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Steve and Karen Entriken; grandsons, Jonah Weikert, Noah Weikert and Aaron Weikert; great- grandchildren, Nona Weikert, Benicio Weikert, Elijah Weikert, Gavin Weikert; nephews, Dan Gibson and Mike Gibson.
Family and Friends are invited to a graveside service at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, California on Monday, September 30th at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Charity.
