Bonnie Belle Heasman

Bonnie Belle Heasman, beloved wife of James Heasman, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at age 90. She was preceded in death by her husband and brother. Bonnie was born to Louis and Flossie (Linderman) Knautz in Spokane, WA on July 6, 1928. Bonnie married Lt. James Heasman on 24 Feb 1950 to begin her life traveling the USA as a military spouse. Famous for her cheerful personality and never ending smile, Bonnie raised four wonderful daughters, Patricia (Wayne) Berny, Janet (Ken) Haines, Paula (Dave) Loewer and Pam (Don) Shackelford. Bonnie loved life, an avid bowler for 40 years, actively engaged in the military lifestyle and loved working with the children at Cordova Elementary School. Her family was the “love” of her life. She is survived by her daughters, 11 grandchildren Lisa, Cheryl, Kyle, Stephen, Brian, Michael, Amanda, Kelly, Paula, Jamie Ann, Stacy and 13 Great grandchildren. Bonnie will be interred with her beloved Jim at the Mt. Vernon Memorial Park, Court of Honor, Fair Oaks, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association 1-800-272-3900.

A Visitation for Bonnie will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M.
