Brian's forty-year career in Information Technology and Project Management began at McClellan Air Force Base in 1981 until the closure of the base. He continued his employment with the State of California in various agencies ultimately serving within the DMV.
Brian enjoyed good food. He referred to himself as a "steak and potatoes" man. His love of music started at an early age with The Beatles. Some of his most memorable times were going to concerts; especially Stevie, Prince, Earth Wind & Fire, P-Funk, and Bruno Mars. He was a loyal and true Raiders and Lakers fan. Some of his most exciting times were on the road with the Raider Nation. Brian's style and demeanor were best displayed in his dress, cars, bling and gadgets. As expressed by his great nephew, Taj, at age five, "I'm the coolest kid 'cause I have the coolest uncle!"
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter G. Burch.
Brian will be lovingly remembered by his Mother, Naomi (Step-Father Woodrow); Uncle, James; Sister, Cynthia (Gene); Brothers, Mark and Bradley; Nieces, Leticia, Tajuana (Lance) and Tasia; Nephews, LeMayo (Roseanne), Tybyu, Brandon, Cameron; Great nieces, Wynter, Lanae, and Atayah; Great Nephews, RaShan and Taj; Great Great Newphew, Tayshan and many cousins.
