Carolyn Ruth Sheley

November 5, 1951 – February 11, 2012

Reverend Carolyn Sheley went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2012 at the age of 60 after fighting breast cancer for over eight years. She will be greatly missed for her fight, determination, smile, and love for her family, friends, co-workers, and church family. She will be remembered for her 23 years of service to the Assemblies of God, Northern California and Nevada District, representing 1500 ministers and 450 churches.

She is survived by her loving husband Rev. Daryl D. Sheley, daughter Leanna Sheley and son Rev. Wesley Sheley (Carrie); grandchildren Nicolas and Jaelyn Sheley. She is also survived by her sister Pat Harris-Moynahan (Kelly); Aunts and Uncle; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of her life will be 10am Friday, February 17, 2012 at New Life Community Church, 8101 Sunset Blvd., Fair Oaks, CA. Interment at 1:00pm, following the Celebration of Life, at Mount Vernon Memorial Park.
