Age 90, passed away on Sept. 28, 2011 with her loving husband and other family members by her side.
Cecily was born on June 24, 1921 in Oakland, CA. She attended U.C. Berkeley and Armstrong College. Cecily resided in Fremont, CA for 30 years and worked for Fremont Unified for 20 years. She was an avid tennis player, golfer and bridge player and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband.
She will be greatly missed by her husband John (Bud) of nearly 68 years, her son Don Terra and wife Ellen, daughter Shirley Faulk and husband Jim, grandchildren, Shelley Terra, Tracy Shirhall (Jeff), John Terra (Karyn), Troy Banuelos (Kandi), Steven Faulk (Karie) and 7 great-grandchildren, John, Tori, Liesl, Lindsey, Laurel, Joshua and Matthew.
Visitation on Oct. 6, at 6-7 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks with a rosary being said at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held Oct. 7, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mel's Catholic Church, 4745 Pennsylvania Ave., Fair Oaks. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scleroderma Foundation or to any charity of your choice.
