Charles Allen Mills, November 7, 1943, died in peace at Mercy San Juan on July 5, 2025. In an obituary he wrote prior to passing he says, "I had good times and bad times like everyone else but regret not constantly being aware of and assisting others in their struggles while maintaining my own life. If a next life is a thing, I hope to do much better. I didn't have the forethought to dig into the lives of my parents and grandparents who adopted my father and regret that history. I did what I thought best for family and other at the time but realize that was not always the best. I don't take responsibility for their actions because of my involvement and wish they all make the best of their lives despite their history. I leave behind 2 sons from my first marriage to Sylvie, Chad in Alaska and Ryan in Oregon, and 4 children brought to me by my wonderful wife Ladda, Udomluk in Los Angeles, Melissa in Sacramento and 3 of her 5 children Dallas, Antonio and Piper, I wish them all the best."
"I grew up in Arlington Heights, IL and graduated from Arlington high school, Harper College AS, Northern Illinois unit BSN, Webster College in MA. I was a Medical Tech at Bunker Hill Air Force Base, an Air Evac Med Tech in Vietnam from 65-66, was a nurse in Ohio and the Philippines, Flight Nurse at Scott Air Force Base in IL, Chief Nurse in Turkey, Charge Nurse in Spokane, WA, Director of Ambulatory Services and Chief Nurse at the tactical hospital in Japan before retiring from the Air Force. I then did another 15 years at UC Davis medical center in Sacramento and 10 years with Dignity Health in Sacramento before retiring for good."
