Claudette Marie Dunn

Claudette Dunn passed away on April 29, 2016 at the age of 84 finally free from the ravages of Alzheimer’s. Claudette is survived by her daughters Debbie Dillon (Bob), Robin Jenkins (Willy), and Claudia Everett (Gary), her sister Lois Warner, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Dunn, her parents Claude and Lyla Arneson, and siblings Orville, Betty, and Janice. Claudette was born in Stanley, North Dakota and grew up on the family farm in Lakota. She enjoyed a 23 year career at Pacific Bell and volunteered at Senior Gleaners for many years upon her retirement. The family gratefully thanks so many who bestowed kindness, compassion and care, including neighbors, Aegis of Carmichael, Sojourn Hospice, and Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Claudette loved to laugh, sing, and dance; her daughters smile knowing that she is doing so once again with Dad in Heaven.

Services will be held at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Citrus Heights on Monday, May 15 at 12 noon. A reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Sojourn Hospice, Alzheimer’s research, or the charity of your choice.
