I was saddened when I heard about the passing of one of my favorite teachers at LeGette Mrs Nakagawa, at first I didn't want to believe it. I remember Mrs Nakagawa as my 3rd and 4th grade teacher, I can remember that when I was in her class, I struggled with getting up in front of the class to give a report we did as an assignment, but with the help of Mrs Nakagawa and fellow classmates they encouraged me to get over my fear of speaking in front of class.  My condolences to the Nakagawa family. Mrs Nakagawa, rest in peace. You will be missed! 

I was so sorry to hear of Connie's passing and send my deepest condolences.  I have wonderful memories of Connie over the many years we spent as colleagues and friends.  She was a very resourceful person who was willing to share her valuable knowledge, experiences and suggestions.  I always appreciated her thoughtful and creative ideas and support as we experienced the adventures of teaching.

I am very saddened to hear of Connie’s passing.  As so many others, Connie and I were colleagues at Earl LeGette School in Fair Oaks.  We teachers were thrilled when Connie went from Teacher Assistant to Teacher at our beloved school.  
Connie was an amazing person, besides being a great teacher. She touched many young minds with her instinct for educating children.  
Connie was a wonderful mother and “kept on keeping on” when trials affected her life.
She will be missed by many.  My condolences to her children and family.

I am so sorry to hear of Connie's passing. As a fellow teacher at LeGette, she was always willing to share ideas, and help others when needed. I have especially fond memories of being soccer moms together when our sons were on the same team. Connie was truly a devoted mom and teacher, and will be missed. My condolences to the Nakagawa family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Nakagawa. I remember her from early on in my schooling at LeGette. I can remember that when I was in 4th grade, I was really struggling with math and in particular, fractions! At that time Mrs. Nakagawa was an instructional assistant my teacher had placed me in one of Mrs. Nakagawa's small groups so I could get more help. She was so patient with me and, thanks to her, the light bulb finally went on and I understood the concept of fractions.  My deepest sympathies and condolences to the Nakagawa family. Mrs. Nakagawa, may you rest in peace.

I am saddened to hear of Connie's passing. My sympathies are with the Nakagawa family. Connie and I were part of the LeGette teachers who went through the National University Masters program. Connie was always there for moral support and collaboration as we all bonded during this difficult year of teaching and schooling. I admired Connie's kindness and intellect. She will be missed. My dear Connie, a wonderful teacher, a wonderful friend. She and I  shared a North Area (Sacramento) upbringing and loved reminiscing about our youth including rival high schools. She was a wonderful teacher always pushing me to give maximum service to her students. A loving mom and loyal friend, she will be missed by all who knew her.  My thoughts go out to her family.

I truly enjoyed having Connie as a teaching partner and a friend. Great memories of our trips up and down the state visiting all of California's missions. She shared engaging lesson plans for our fourth graders and we had each other to talk to about planning  and strategies.  I will miss her wit and friendship..my condolences to her family.
