

Daniel Park was a self-made man with strength and tendency that allowed him to live his life to the fullest. He was born and raised in Pyongyang as the 4th son of a noble family with limited means. Growing up, he worked nights to support himself and his family. He graduated from Seoul National University, the top university in Korea. He married his wife and mother of his children soon after the Korea War. Despite the chaos of the country after the war, Daniel went on to become the President and CEO of one of the biggest companies in Korea in the 1960s. His company pioneered international trade for Korea and Daniel was recognized as one of the 10 key business leaders in Korea by then President Park. He and his family moved to Hong Kong in the late 1960s due to political and financial adversity. In the 1970s, he and his family moved to Guam where he lived for over 40 years. In Guam, he continued to be successful in his business ventures. However, his greatest personal fulfillment was raising his children and witnessing their accomplishments.
