

Delfin Cabonot Nacar born on December 24, 1937 in Philippines passed away peacefully in Roseville, California on February 22, 2015. He lived on Guam for 24 years. He is survived by Clarita, his loving and devoted wife of 41 years. He also leaves behind four children and their families: Dondon (son), Maryann (daughter-in-law), Mardon and Desmond (grandsons); Divina Grace (daughter), Sean (son-in-law), Tyler and Kian (grandsons); Analyn Lenie (daughter); Jefrey (son), Azenette (daughter-in-law), Jaiden (grandson).
In his prime, his interest to see the world began with a job assignment in Iraq. He has also visited and resided on Guam, South Korea, Canada, Colorado, South Carolina, and the Middle East. After a brief stint as a police officer for four years, he worked as a heavy machine/auto mechanic for over 20 years. Delfin spent much of his leisure travelling, taking photographs, fixing cars and gadgets, sharing his faith and beliefs, singing and dancing, watching sports-especially WWE, and indulging his grandchildren. He touched the hearts of many with his endearing, compassionate, and amiable nature. His tranquil voice resounded with messages of hope, unity, and patience. As a man of principle and love, he recounts his baptism as part of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1993 and his marriage to his beautiful wife Clarita in 1973 as milestones in his life. Delfin is a humble and selfless man whose greatest achievement is raising a family of four children who will carry on his legacy of integrity, perseverance, diligence, kindness, faith, and enduring belief in education.
