I've been thinking about you a lot. I wish I had eloquent words to express how I feel about you.You were a hero, raising us on your own for seven years after Mummy died. I remember you were the only Dad who went to the Mothers' Club meetings at Saint Andrew's. Did you know that they changed the name to Parents' Club because of your pioneering ways? You were always there for us, giving advice, even when we thought we didn't need it.I miss you. I feel privileged to have been with you when you left this world behind. Nobody ever worked harder than you did your whole life. Now you are able to rest at last. I love you.

Dad, they don't make them like you anymore. You were the best a man could be in every way. The best father, always willing to help with whatever was needed. So glad you were able to live life on your own terms for 91 years. Here's to you, with much love...Jim

Pop, My words are so weak in saying what I would like to express. Your parting has left us on our own to now be the elders...your example of hard work, dedicated love, and constant concern for your children is something we will so sorely miss--and try to emulate. You treated us so well, you dependably were there when we needed you. You were fair, just and solidly loving. I can not imagine life without your stubborn, loving presence, and will abide with your presence in memory, never ending. Love, Joan

You were a wonderful father who loved his family so much. You were a great example of hard work and "can do" spirit. You are missed very much.
