Doris Irene Moore

Born August 20, 1926 to Harold and Rachael Kalin in Butte, Montana. Entered into eternal rest on April 18, 2012 at the age of 85. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a Sacramento resident for 51 years. She had a profound love for life. She always had a smile and was gracious and kind to all she met.

She worked for her husband's bakery Adolf's Bakery for a number of years. She had a deep love for Weight Watchers as a receptionist for 24 years. She had a wonderful sense of humor and used it even in her final days. Her favorite pastime was watching game shows and reading the newspaper. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Doris has joined her beloved husband Adolf, who passed away in 1995, and son Brad who passed away in 2008. Loving mother of Lynne and her husband Nick. Grandchildren include Stavro, Kristina and Shellby. Great-grandchildren are Anvelina, Luke, Logan (New),and Callie. Doris is also survived by her sister Betty Ley. She is loved by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by sisters Margaret and Alice. A host of sister-in-law and brother-in-law.

Friends are welcome to join the family in remembering Doris's life; viewing is on Tuesday April 24, between 4:00-8:00pm.Funeral on April 25, at 11:00 am. Mount Vernon Memorial Park and Mortuary 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks.
