Elaine ended her struggle with Alzheimer’s dementia on April 24, 2021 and left her earthly home in Citrus Heights for her real home in Heaven. Elaine grew up in San Francisco where her father, Howard Day, was a pastor at First Baptist Church. Active in the church all her life, Elaine loved God and loved others through a number of ministries both in San Francisco and locally. Elaine loved traveling, cooking, gardening, vacationing in Yosemite and eating chocolate. Her amazing and beautiful smile will be remembered always.
