Emil S. Walczyk

Emil S Walczyk went home to be with our Heavenly Father on December 8, 2021 at the age of 100 years and 4 months old. Emil was born to Paul and Klara Walczyk on August 13 1921 on the family farm near Lindon Colorado. He was the 3rd child of 12 Children (7 Boys and 5 girls). Emil went to school and helped work the family farm until he was drafted into the Army during WW II, where he was stationed in the Philippines. After Emil was Honorably discharged from the Army, he returned home. On January 12, 1948 Emil married Donna Jeanne Greenburg. They had eight children together: Kathleen Zandowicz, Michel Walczyk, Pamela Wiechman, Patricia Cowen, Terry Walczyk, Bruce Walczyk, Sharon Wilkins and Sheila Vigeant. On July 3, 1968 Emil married Freda Keys-Hamlin. They had a full and happy life until Freda passed away in May 1993. Emil was blessed to find another lovely woman Maria Arick-Boge and they were Married on March 10, 1998. Maria passed away on October 21, 2014. Emil was a brick mason for 50+ years. He loved square dancing, traveling and being outdoors. Emil is survived by his brothers: Frank Walczyk and Herman Walczyk. Sisters: Angeline Walczyk, Pauline Frenzl (Frank), and Cecilia Kalous (George). He is also survived by Daughter Kathleen Zandowicz, Son Michel Walczyk, Daughter Pamela Wiechman (Roger), Son Bruce Walczyk (Sheena), and Daughters Sharon Wilkins (Danny) and Sheila Vigeant (Raymond) along with all of his 19 grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. Emil was a very Kind and loving Man who lived a full life. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace is his new Heavenly Home. A visitation for Emil will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. A commital service will occur Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
