Ethel May Killeen, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, left us while sleeping peacefully at her residence in Folsom, California on June 23, 2020. She was in her 94th year, and passed away due to congestive heart failure.
Ethel was born October 26, 1925 in Eldora, Iowa to Lambert and Matilda (Tilly) Kramer. Ethel was third eldest to her siblings; Lawrence, Bob and Frank. She moved to San Diego as a young woman with her family where she met her longtime friend and love, Edward Killeen who preceded her in death in 2014. Ethel, at 17 years young, was married on June 24, 1943 for 47 years.
She was a dedicated mother first and foremost and raised 4 sons; Gary, Jeff, Steve and Greg. As a homemaker she could fix anything with a butter knife and masking tape.
Ethel is survived by her three sons Jeff, Steve and Greg Killeen; grandchildren, Kelly McDermott, Chris Killeen, Shannon Lilienthal, Esther Killeen, Jeremiah Killeen, Moses Killeen, Joshua Killeen, Noah Killeen, Sarah Killeen; plus 5 great grandchildren and her many nephews and nieces. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
